What I hate about some mylotters

What I hate about Mylot is when you waste your time commenting on someone else's discussion and you don't get an answer. Especially when it's a newbie. I mean, I put all of heart into this. So why ignore me ? The least you could do is like it and move on

Yes some members are like that. There are even some who have been here for awhile and still do that.
I know of one responder who doesn't comment back and that sort of bugs me. It's one thing if you don't know what to say but it's another when you never comment back at all.

@august18 There are still plenty here who do comment back and try to keep a conversation going. It's all about finding those people and forgetting the rest.

Has it occur to you that it's their will to do so? and as long as it doesn't violate the guidelines, they just can respond when ever they want.
As for me, I'm just not addicting as I were before. I have so many post to make about what's happened today but so many more had done before I could share it.
I hate myself being busy off line and sleeping kinda late these days. Yeah, move on sadly, don't let it frustrate you.

I always give a like to comments/responses to my posts but only few comments/responses back because I have nothing constructive to add.

Just adding a like is fine with me as it shows you acknowledge my contribution.
If you have a few responses saying more or less the same thing it's hard to add anything new so a like is fine.
I do have the opinion that ignoring all responses is rude and I generally will ignore that person if they do it regularly.

Yes, it happens with me too! I had my part of ranting by posting a discussion about it and replying to various discussions relating to this topic! Yes, I can understand how bad we feel when we don't get response back for our sincere and honest response!

newbies seem to think that they should interact with others' discussions and ignore theirs. i know one who comments on others' posts but not on hers/his. i haven't seen this user lately. i better take a look if the user is still around

I have no problem with that. To each his own I say 
. I give likes to all posts and comments that I like. I respond to and like all comments until I have nothing more to add, this is usually concluded with a simple like 
. That's how I do things, but others may have a different approach.

When a newbie comments on my post and I go to their profile to see what they've written, most of the time, not all, the posts aren't discussion worthy. So, it doesn't surprise me they also don't leave a response to your comment.

It isn't the website's fault. Some people do tend to do that and it isn't nice. Others it is not intentional, I know I forget to respond to some people and the notifications disappear before I can get to them.

@august18 I do so much in a day that I just forget and I feel bad but then when a post of mine gets only like 2 responses, yeah I don't feel as bad anymore.

Yes, I even type a very detailed instruction before on how I cooked that specific dish. The steps and the ingredients. And I ended my responses with a question. Yet I didn't get an answer nor a like.
