Since it's their 3rd year anniversary, I have no choice but to let him cook instead of taking us to a buffet with my Father.
I really don't like to have a messy kitchen because my room is beside it.
The smell of the food come inside my room and will leave it there unless I spray insect repellent. But he wants to cook so I let my Brother cook.
Then this cake came this afternoon. It's well decorated with sweets chocolates and my nieces and nephews cannot wait to taste it.
After dinner, we dig the cake and it was one of the delish cake I've tasted.
I asked the Brother if how much is the cake, he said it's 1,800 pesos ($33.74).
Imagine a cake like that?
I imagine the same taste of cake from Red Ribbon that cost about 300 pesos ($5.62 ).

It looks lovely . I know what you mean about the food smell, but I love cooking (even if my wife is better than me and she does it more than I do).
As for the price... here it's around 6$ for one pound and when there is an anniversary, we buy cakes that are 3 or 4 pounds.

oh, my that's definitely expensive. but i'm glad it's really tasty so it's worth the price. it's also for a special occasion and as miki said, it's nice to experience new things.
personally, i'd buy 2 small cakes, but different kinds. plus ice cream! hahaha!
