Now for a Friday edition of good news from McKinney Texas. A McKinney Police Officer Rogers was surprised that a young teen came out of the blue so to speak and offered a cold drink of Gatorade to the police officer who was inside his auto having a tough time handling the heat wave in the area. The young man whose name was not given, did his kind gesture to the police officer to give him a cold bottle of Gatorade as a way of showing law enforcement officers the respect that they deserve. Sure this story will not make the national evening news since it is a good news story but it shows that what is on television with all of the darkness is not all bad. The temperature in McKinney Texas reached 108 degrees on Thursday.

It beats watching the politically correct media pointing out the evils that the police do to minorities in America.

@Deepizzaguy I grew tired of false memes a long time ago.

It is a nice deed to do his part to assist the police instead of acting like the policeman is his enemy.

Good to hear! I see (and sometimes participate in) acts of kindness often. They do not make the news.

That is true since the teen seems to have been brought up the right way by his relatives.

That is a very kind hearted act. If only I have extra money I would do the same thing. It is good to appreciate people by showing it on our own little ways, be it small or big, gifts or food and even a heart felt Thank You, can make a difference.
