Local Street Food v/s Hotels - Which you prefer?

I stay in a country called India wherein there is different popular street food in different states and cities. I personally feel that food we get it locally are more tasty, I don't know about hygiene and calorie count though. I like to eat in hotels too. In order to be healthy I prefer eating in hotels. I have street food occassionally. What about you?

I like both too, when I stay at hotels I usually only have breakfast included as I want to try local food.

I prefer to eat in hotels. I love the dishes I can taste there. Though I eat local foods as well but it is rare.
