Do you think this is irresponsible

So I got out at 8pm to buy something and I see 2 boys playing outside. Their age around 5 and 6. I know their parents but I feel disturbed. As a parent how the hell do you stay at home without your kids at that time of the night. What goes through your mind like seriously? Parents need to be responsible.

Playing in dark is not safe for such young children. Playing till 8 PM is very normal for the apartment where I stay. In fact the playtime for most of the kids and teens here is 5 to 8;30 PM. So I am not worried if they are playing out till 8 as their playtime is from 6;30 to 8.

Yes, that is not a good thing! These kids playing in the dark can be easily targeted by any antisocial elements or wild animals or nocturnal animals! Since you know their parents you can just tell them in a friendly way about the possible danger the kids can have while paying outside at such odd hours! Thanks!

Some of them you tell them in the most polite way and all they can do is think you are crazy and even stop talking to you

Kids are vulnerable in that age. Parents should act responsible.
