150th Birthday celebration of the Golden Retrievers in Scotland

The 150th Birthday of the Golden Retriever dog took place on Saturday.

Today marks the 150th Anniversary of the Golden Retriever breed that was celebrated in Scotland on Saturday. The Golden Retriever Club Of Scotland saw 361 Golden Retrievers with their owners celebrating their 150th birthday. Lord Tweedmouth is credited with having an experiment with a Wavy coated retriever with a Tweed Water Spaniel in 1868. The celebration took place in the highlands in Scotland.
