I am in australia but i am a big fan of american idol can anyone tell me when it appears on television, i saw an ad saying it was coming soon but i dont know when!

American Idol will be back on the air in January but am not sure what the date is that it will be coming back on. But it is definitely in January and I believe it will still be on tuesdays and wednesdays here in the states.

I was told it was starting here on tv this saturday evening i dont know if that is the last series or what not!

I used to watch it all the time.. now i get tired of it.. there is only so much you can watch of it.. and even though it is different people each season.. it is getting boring.
