Favourite place for Vacation?? How often you take a break?

Hi mylotters. Life has become so fast and hectic nowadays that everyone takes a break or mini vacation in order to energise themselves and feel fresh.
Some people prefer hill stations, some prefer beach. Some people goes to nearby places for a short trip, some people plan a long trip and go to places which are left to be discovered by them.
Personally I try to take a short trip to nearby place. My favourite destination to travel is a hill station called Darjeeling. I had gone over there in my teen years.
What's your getaway place? How often you take a vacation?

I prefer going to different places each time. mostly if i just want some peace and quiet, beach would be the best place to go and relax and find some quiet time to myself.
I also go to cities of another country to get to know about their culture and basically to learn about their history. I do love historical places, and how they are built and has become what they are now.
My least favorite is going to the mountains because I do find it a bit too risky especially that i am not a mountain climber.

I love travelling. Mostly we take two long vacations and a few small one in a year. We take one vacation out of country in every two years. We are fond of travelling and plan our budget annually for that.

Hey i lived in darjeeling hope you went to ghoom the railway station and that tiger point where you have seen the sun rise between the ridge of mountain..
i prefer you to visit mirik also almost 50 km away from darjeeling
you will enjoy it better than darjeeling
actually that whole area is tourist hub..
if you visit next time please inform me i will let you know the best place of that part..

I love traveling to a new place, meeting new people and learning about their culture. But I would always choose my country, The Philippines, to take a much-needed vacation. Usually, I would go to a beach that is kind of secluded or nature-tripping. Sometimes, I would go for an overnight stay in a hotel where I can relax and recharge. It really depends on my mood and budget.
