Pancakes! I mean... crepes!

So, a while ago I tried to do something really easy, but a little different. I was eating at some restaurant one day and they had these little crepes that were amazing. Just crepes, sour cream and sour cherries. I went home and did a little research and found some recepies, so I decided to try. All I had to do was to make some crepes, find some freezed sour cherries and mix a little the sour cream with some sugar and vanilla essence (I also added some orange zest). For fun, I also added some dark chocolate chips on top. And you can see the result .

We make crepes here every now and then. I not only make sweet crepes, but I very much like them with an spinach and cream filling.

Yes, there are many recipes out there. I like them sweet, but I enjoy them with cream and cheese too .

@marguicha well, it depends. People put a lot of jam on crepes or chocolate, I don't like that. I don't want to have my senses overwhelmed, it has to be just right. I love chocolate, but I hate chocolate cakes, they are way too sweet. It's all about balance .

Actually, it wasn't that much cream, one layer of crepes, some cream, another layer of crepes and so on until you have a pyramid. I'll find the recipe and try it again .

I make crepes sometimes but I just have them plain with butter. I love them.

Butter? Never tried that, guess I'm learning something new again. I like them sweet, but not with chocolate. Some jam, maybe some honey .

They were yummy indeed. And so simple to make, the waiting was longer, because I had to put them in the fridge for a few hours before eating them. And those are crepes, indeed (thank you Lori for telling me ).
