I finally got my voicemail issue cleared up yesterday with Verizon. But of course as soon as that cleared up something else with my phone service went wrong.
All day today I would get incoming calls and when I would answer the call it would connect, there would be ten seconds of dead air and then it would disconnect. Five or ten seconds later I would have a voicemail.
I spent more than two hours dealing with Verizon customer support before they remedied the problem. Something with my system not updating when it was supposed to caused this.
Of course I missed three calls today, and I am hoping they call back so I can explain what happened. Lol. And hopefully it stays fixed.

That isn't an option. No one provides service out here but Verizon. What's the point in me having a phone if it doesn't get service.

@Ladanger I had AT&T when we moved out here almost two years ago and I kept them for a few months but I would have to walk a quarter mile up the hill just to see if I had text messages so I switched to Verizon and I won't switch to anything else because I have to have my phone for work to get ahold of me.

Most times when I have phone issues, I do a soft reset and that usually clears them up. I have Verizon too, and for the most part I don't have very many issues with their service.

They screwed up my sons voicemail as well but other than that we haven't had too many problems.

Hopefully it wasn't your work calling you with changes or something.
