Notifications v/s new discussions

To what do you prefer to respond first. For me it is always the notifications. I feel that it is my duty to those to earn who havde helped me. So first I respond to all the notifications and then only go ahead and read new discussions.
What is your choice?

I have a set pattern The first thing I do is to attend to notifications, go to top rated and then post a discussion During the day I will also go to recent disucsions.

When I go into My Lot I go into e-mail and do those and then do what has to be done and then when I can go to Notifications.

@amitkokiladitya my strategy is, i could make a new discussion and once i post it, i do my notifications. if you also notice, my responses to your comments are several hours after you made your comment.

I always finish the notifications first, as a show of gratitude to those who read and commented on my posts. Then I go and read new discussions.

I agree. I'm will read and answer to that one who comments on my discussion\comment first.
What's annoying is that once you press on one notification, when you go back you can't see what's new and whats old. So what i do is i open a new tab for every notification

Why don't you delete the notification as soon as you answer it. Then it would be easy

What do you mean deleting them?
If you open the notification window and then choosing one of the new notification it will not show you the difference between the new and the old ones as it did.
