It’s My Birthday!

Yay! I woke up a year older! And what can I say, last night I had the biggest surprises of my life. My team (colleagues at work) setup a surprise birthday party for me, complete with cakes and balloons and food and all! It was sooooo unexpected. They already surprised me with a cake last Friday as they said they won’t be seeing me anymore on my birthday as it’s a Sunday. Turns out they have been planning this the whole week long! So that’s why they’ve been asking me where I’ll be Saturday night! They really got me right there! Best actors I might say! Haha!
But the best actor award goes to...tadaaaah! The boyfriend! Haha. He was there planning it all with my team! And he’s not ine who’s into theowing surprises and parties and all. But oh man, it was really sweet! He led me to believe that we’d be meeting with his cousins for dinner. Turns out it as my team waiting for me! Teary eyed, I hugged everybody with tears in my eyes! I can’t contain my happiness with all that love.
This is just one of the best birthdays I’ve had. Thank you to all the people who were there to celebrate it with me. Much love! <3

My next birthday, which will occur in less than six months from now, will be birthday number forty for me.
So if I live to age eighty, my life is already half over! I cringe at the thought!
Anyway, I'm glad that your birthday went as well as it did for you, Miss Taken.

Thank, Icydoll. Very nice indeed. They’re my colleagues. Subordinates actually. But I consider them my close friends, and I kinda guess they consider me as one as well. I was so touched with their messages. I am happy we have a harmonious relationship on and off work. :)
