It is a bright and sunny Sunday today, my fellow mylotters, how are you all? I went to church alone because apparently, my sister was feeling lethargic because of the medicines prescribed to her by her neurologist. I reached the church at 9:15AM and the mass was already nearing its closing prayers, so I attended the 9:30AM mass and started and finished it. Then I strolled on a sunny day, bought medicine, drank a PhP10.00 worth of melonade juice from a local meat store, bought a loaf of bread and a pack of biscuits, and again, strolled to the parking area. While I was walking, I heard this song that was famous when I was in Grade 6, elementary. I recall this song with another vintage entitled “Knock Three Times”. I sang the song Beautiful Sunday in my mind and I reminisced how much fun we had when we were still in our elementary years. I have included here the link of that upbeat song Beautiful Sunday, from YouTube. Do you recall some songs when you were still in your elementary years? Do you still enjoy listening to them? I do.

the mass here in the city takes an hour. 30 minutes is too short for us, because there are many church-goers here, and we have the cathedral where masses are said. even without YouTube, i recall that song. i just wanted to put the link so others will know the song i am mentioning.

yes, the knock 3 times is an upbeat song. when we, as a class, sing that song, we even demonstrate the knocking and the stomping of our feet.

I always hear the song "Beautiful Sunday" when my friends/family are having a karoke session. I could no longer remember the songs during my elementary days; but I remembered one that our high school teacher asked us to sing :"Downtown," which might be her favorite during her younger days.

There are many beautiful songs I love from my elementary years. Still now, when I sing those songs, I get the same relaxation. Yes I still enjoy those songs.

the songs of the yesteryears have more depth and better melody than the songs of today, do you agree with me?
