Diary Friday 27th July 2018
I took part in a course preparation session on risk assessment for teaching to social work students in the next academic year, starting in the Autumn. Afterwards I did a little shopping followed by some creative writing and routine job searching.
Diary Saturday 28th July 2018
My bank sent me a new bank card, due to changes in their ownership. My old card was not due to be renewed for another year but I had to replace it with the new one right away, and destroy the original.
That meant going online to alter details on all the pages I have online banking arrangements with such as Amazon, E-Bay and a hotel I'm booked into for next Easter. There was a blood red moon and lunar eclipse tonight but it was too cloudy here to see any of it.
Diary Sunday 29th July 2018
A rainy cloudy day. Quite a nuisance as I had some laundry to put out, but nice to get a break from the incessant heatwave. I caught up with a lot of e-mail correspondence and some of my wring projects.

@arthurchappell We actually saw the southern lights once down in Ravensthorpe. They don't see them very often so we were very lucky.

We missed the lunar eclipse (only partial in Tokyo) due to a passing typhoon. It's ok, we have had several total eclipses in the past few years, so I have been able to see them.

Nice you got a bit of shopping done Arthur.
Oh what a nuisance changing all the payment details for the new card and such.
I certainly did not see the moon last night too much going on here and not great either.
Finally you are back to the good old rain..now for some heat to come.
