Today is Harry Potter's birthday. If you were a huge fan of Harry Potter, like me, you may remember many of the Harry Potter books came out on his birthday. I remember dragging my kids (only had four back then) to the book store at midnight on July 21, 2007 to get Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows. My youngest was only 4 months old. My other kids were 9, 7, and 4. They were good sports. I remember reading that book in less than 3 days. I don't think they saw me at all in those 3 days lol. I was 28. I can't believe that the Harry Potter character is 38! I didn't realize that we were nearly the same age. I am 39 now, and I will be 40 in October. So Happy 38th Birthday Harry Potter! You were a huge part of my young adult life, and my children's childhood as well. They all have enjoyed reading the books.
