Do you peel the potatoes when you cook them?

I always peel the potatoes when I cook them. This is why I prefer to buy bigger ones so that it will be much more convenient than the small ones. Sometimes I am surprised that in some restaurants they don't peel the potatoes.

Yes,peels also have nutrients ,so most of them use potatoes with peels ,I have once tried with peels.

Somewhat I don't like potato skins. It is not like apples. I do not peel the apples.

@youless I scrub the small ones with very light peel, I peel the "old" potatoes.

It is said that more nutrients are in the skin so many are advising to keep the skin as well. Since it is growing under the earth, I prefer to remove the skin. Else we have to wash it thoroughly.

Yes, I do but if I will make potato salad, I cook the potatoes with their skin before peeling them off.

@youless I feel the peel is covered with a lot of soil and if I don't peel it off that dust might get into the food.

@youless hahaha but you know, after i cook it with its peel, i throw the peel before i eat the potato.lol different with apple skin, i eat it without peel it
