Sometimes I don't understand people

I have this unusual experience with one of my colleagues. From the beginning, I felt that there was something not good toward him. I was shocked by his attitude because he lack respect toward me and his other colleagues so I immediately reported it to the principal. He somehow changed a bit toward his attitude toward me and with others but this time around, I heard complaints from the students. They told me that this teacher blames other teachers whenever "these students" commit wrong English. He told the students those teachers are not good for they did not learn anything from them. Moreover, the students complained about his harsh words and he even made even good students cry. I was really angry with his attitude but my friend told me to be calm.

Such behaviour must be reported to the principal and the teacher must be officially reprimanded. I wonder why the parents don't do anything.. I was a teacher for 40 years. I know what I'm talking about. I know that my English lessons were good and everybody who wanted to learn something and were mentally able to do so could learn the English language well. But of course, there are and always will be pupils who are not able or willing to learn.

As much as possible, we are trying our best to solve the problem in the school. This will be a disgrace in the name of the school.

All I can say is that person has a lot of insecurities and a very big ego.

I agree with you Tony. Other colleagues told me the same thing.

He doesn't sound a very nice person. That is unprofessional behaviour.

There were plenty of teachers who acted that way in my children's schools. They always left after a few years.

I hope he will leave soon. He is a liability rather than an asset.
