Do you still use land-line phones?

Land-line phones are a talk of past for most of us. We used to have land-line phones couple of years ago but because of high calling cost and almost negligible usage we removed that. Now we all have our personal mobile phones. I know there are some people who still use land-line phones. They are usually elderly people who are not convenient with mobiles. Do you still use land-line phones?

We do have a landline, but we really don't use it. My husband and I usually just use our cellphones. It's a lot easier.

Yes. Cellphones are easy and have much more utility than land-line phone

No one I know has one anymore. The service out here was terrible especially when it rained. Many that might have kept them gave them up because of that.

I can understand.. Even here maintenance cost was heavy on pocket as lines keep on damaging..

I haven't had a house phone in forever. YEARS actually. I don't see any reason to have one.

Great.. We had it years ago. That time cell phones were not easy to maintain because of higher calling charges. Now it's reverse of it

No.... we have already given my landline phone back to the telephone exchange.... the calling rates are exorbitant and most of the time during monsoon the connection suffered.
