It's 3:45 pm Here. This is afternoon tea time for most of the Indians. Indian ginger tea is loved by almost all Indian. It takes milk, sugar, tea leaves, crushed ginger to make it. All things together are boiled for 6-10 minutes to have ginger flavor. Biscuits and toasts go well with the tea. It's refreshing and takes away the afternoon laziness.

@anamika161088 so, the milk tea was coined from or invented by the Filipinos? i don't think so. maybe they just mix the tea with milk.

@ridingbet we use milk while making tea. But with water. Indian way of making tea is very different from other countries. Though in hotels, here people are now started practicing the western way of making tea maybe because people from other countries feel it better.

I am not aware of milk tea though. This one is traditional Indian beverage. It's difficult to find in other countries though. In other countries yeah is totally different from this one.

I am waiting for my husband to have it with him. Most of the times, it is him who makes tea. I am not addicted to tea and I just have it to give him company.

Wow we have something in common. I love ginger tea as well. But not with food, though. I drink it on its own and we don't put other ingredients like milk or sugar. We call it Salabat in our country.
