mySTYLE

I think those who sometimes read my discussions already know my style of sharing my discussions. You are right, I narrate my activities done by me at home. So, maybe even if I have changed my avatar, you will be reminded that, "Ah, this user is @ridingbet, because I know her style". Oh yes, fellow mylotters. you should already know me with my errors in grammar and spelling. Sometimes I exchange the F with the G (Finger as Ginger), mUsty-eyed for misty-eyed, and many more. I usually write the HAHAHA followed by the laughing and ROFLing emojis. I also know someone who laughs with a HEHEHE and another with a HIHIHIHI... I may comment in amusing manner, but I am serious when commenting about my sickness and/or sharing some of my knowledge about some illnesses. I don't always ask a question in my discussions' titles, because my titles are only 2 words, joint but separated with one word in big letters. I sometimes ask questions near the end of my discussions. That is my style. What is yours?

When you go through the "Most Recent Discussions" it's hard to recognize the style, because you only read the titles.

@ridingbet I remember your username, but I confess that I do not remember all the usernames, even of people I follow. I recognize their avatars, if they change I am often lost.

every non-native English speaker here wants to post complete grammatically error-free discussions and i understand if we commit these errors.. even professionals do err, so i think it is alright, though we still have to improve our language skills. i do not use the acronym LOL because this could mean LOTS OF LOVE.

@Shivram59 well, as long as the topic is well-understood then there will be no problem at all.

Other members should comment on my style, not I myself. Read my posts and you'll know it. :-) I find HAHAHA and HEHEHE ridiculous when it comes from grown-up members. In fact, it puts me off. I hardly ever answer questions asked at the end of a post. I don't want to be led in a certain direction. If I feel like answering, I'll do it. I don't have to be taken by my hand.

yes i know your style, definitely. i must say it is so professional, no jokes included. and when you comment, they are always straightforward and no-nonsense. it is a proof that you are an educator.

Everyone has a style, that's what makes them stand out. That's also what makes writing so much fun, because I need to create styles for people. Myself, I don't know if I have a style, but I'm sure I do. For one, I don't have any typos in my comments or my posts. If I find one, I get rid of it as soon as I see it, correcting it, even if it's an old post or comment. I will also do my best to use proper grammar and punctuation. It keeps me in practice as a writer. So, I guess that's my style. Always practicing what I love best - writing.

@ridingbet I can't even look at my keyboard anymore. The letters are mostly worn off. When I look at the keyboard and try to figure out what the letter or punctuation is, I get it wrong. I think it's time to replace my keyboard again.

@just4him there is a keyboard on screen. won't you try that? i think a mouse is also needed when pushing a letter from the screen keyboard

that is great because you write books and you have the daily prayer that you share here. for me, sometimes i err in my spelling if i use the phone because my finger is big; on desktop, it is usually because the light does not shine on the keyboard so that is the main problem for my wrong spelling. but i try to edit once i see the error.

I noticed your new avatar immediately. You do have a certain style, but so do others. I don't think I have a style per se.
