Busy week leading to a busy weekend

The little town of Brownsville, Oregon, about 20 miles up the interstate has an annual antique and collectible sale. Anne and her friend Jone came up with the idea of getting a space and selling their respective greeting cards, photographs, old stuff from Turkey, dress patterns, jewelry they both make, etc, etc.
Jone's grown daughter is here to help with a nice big pickup. Oscar and I have small SUVs, Anne and Jone both have folding tables and another friend of Anne's loaned a 10' x 10 foot canopy (in a box) that we will put up. As I said, Anne and Jpne and another friend started this, but Jone's husband Oscar and I are in it up to our necks to do the heavy lifting and help sell stuff.
Anne even got one of those things that allows you to take credit cards with a cell phone (I hope it works).
Oh, Anne thinks we should be there "as close to 6 AM as possible. Saturday will be a long day, but it is in a nice park with restrooms and running water too.

Wishing you the best of luck and hope you make a bundle. The most important thing is that I know Anne and her friend will just be thrilled their stuff sells.

Yes they will, they both make great jewelry and Jone makes beautiful cards from photos and drawings.

Well...it was fun being with our friends and hearing some good music. Anne sold a few things, as did Jone, but it was mostly some real swap meet sort of merchandise.

There were at least a hundred vendors there, "antiques" were mostly old junk and things of any quality did not sell well at all. Both Anne and Jone sold a few things. On the upside there was a sort of classic American car show and some really good music from a band that played a mix of country and folk. We had shade too which was a good thing.

@JamesHxstatic Antiques can be hard to sell. There is the odd antique fair in our nearest city but they keep the junk out of the place so perhaps things sell a bit better there. Having a good band and cars to look at would have been a bonus.

It was a pretty good time. Jone's adult daughter was with us and it was good getting to know her. There was good music for most of the day. Not a killing exactly, but they both sold a few things.

Hi, I hope it goes well. As for me, I have a busy weekend too. I have just enrolled in a freelancing course and there are tasks needed to be done. Also, I am studying to become a good Virtual Assistant. Gladly, there are free courses online.
