I'm The Bologna in a Doggie Sandwich

When I woke up this morning I found that I was indeed the bologna in a doggie sandwich. If you look on the right you will see some white on the bed, that is my little dog Brie. I am the lump under the middle of the quilt and under the quilt on the left there is a lump cuddled up against my lower back, that is Roscoe, he likes to sleep under the quilt right next to me. I do love my dogs but I need to find just the right spot to sleep because it is not very easy to change position when you are the bologna lol My hubs is off to the left of me on his side of the bed.

How sweet - when I had a dog she always slept next to me and she was a big dog.

lol Yes our dogs from many years ago were much bigger as well. I found that large dogs were just too strong for us as we got older.

@BelleStarr We don't have one at all now. Though we love dogs they are too much of a tie now.

lol Yes I agree, a king-sized rather than a queen would be much more comfortable. lol

@BelleStarr One of my neighbors will also need to change the bed, he had two cats that he did not neuter and now he has six.

Either you get a new bed for you or new bed for them.

Love it! So who took the photo? lol Our dogs slept with their heads on the pillows. Thank goodness we had king size beds and pillows. I loved cuddling with them and feeling their bodies. For some reason, I slept better.

Dogs do love to sleep with us- and you're lucky they are just small enough to fit-lol!

lol Yes I am, imagine if they were 80 pounds, we would have to move to the guest room.

I find myself hugging the edge of my bed because my Chihuahua has edged me towards the side. It's like she's spooning!

That's cute. I remember many nights trying to change positions when our dog, Nayla, would be sleeping up against my feet. Of course it was easier to move around when she was there as opposed to when she would sleep on her back with her head on one of our pillows. You never wanted to be the last one to go to bed during that phase in her life.

I remember waking up one-morning thinking that Al had overslept and seeing our dog at the time, Chance with his head on Al's pillow lol

I have thought to buy myself an extra large king size bed to cater for our CATS - my hubby is a bed hog and the cats have joined him, so I hang on the edge and my back is taking its toll.

I agree, I really need a bigger bed or twin beds but I am afraid that both the dogs would choose to sleep with me which will give me even less space lol

Only one of our dogs sleeps with my daughter while the other prefers sleeping on the couch by himself. Seems like you have a crowded bed

wow! for us here, since we have 11 dogs, all of them sleep in the floor of the living room. although Chibi sometimes sleeps in my room, or my son's too.

lol yes and at one time it was five, I think that is why Al doesn't really want me to get another dog, no room in the bed lol
