Good morning to one and all my fellow mylotters, how are you? I was interacting a few hours ago but then my sister asked me if I can go to the city to get the dog food from a meat store, that is reserved for us. I had to say ‘yes’ because she had the aching facial grimace. So at 8AM, I went. I brought along my pants that need to have the zipper changed. When I arrived home at 10AM, I felt so exhausted due to walking from the tailor shop to the meat store, twice back and forth (zipper had to be bought in one store that opened at 9:30AM). My sister also has the schedule of her hair trim and coloring after lunch. I told her she can go and if she arrives before 5PM, I might go to my colleague’s house for the birthday celebration of her brother, also get-together for us part-time colleagues. I think the errand has drained my energy. So I messaged Miss Cata and Miss FCT that I might not be able to go this 5PM. Can you give up on one activity in favor of another person’s activity? I am doing it now, in favor of my sister. But I am also tired, and that is another reason.

You did a good thing by helping your sister. Family should always come first.

I have always been ready to move in case of an emergency. I do not live near my family. My husband is always my top priority.

@ridingbet Where we live, we do not fear natural disasters. Should we have a health emergency, we call an ambulance.

@anamika161088 that is so true. for me, i prioritize eating together during mealtime with my son and my sister. my sister though, prioritizes preparing the dog food of the 2 small brown dogs, that is why if i am preparing the food of the other 9, she is already resting.

it is prioritizing one's tasks so we can just delay our activities in favor of another.

Good thing I don't live anywhere near any of my siblings. But sometimes my brother would call me for an emergency help. When it's emergency I could certainly give up anything.

yes that is true my friend. i was exhausted yesterday. i cannot walk slowly though because the market place is filled with transient merchants because on August 16, it will be the city's feast day. you know, the 'baratillo' mode.
