Why do you drink Alcoholic drink?

Not that I'm a saint but I really don't understand why do people drinks. I had beer and didn't like the taste. I had wisky and didn't like it. I had wine and didn't like it either. I do have wine occassionly for health purpose but still don't like it. I mean non of them taste good as a glass of juice yet people comsumes it why? It is just to get drunk? Or any other reason...What about you why do you drink and what do you like about it?
