If we were a race of telepaths...

...I'd be very concerned. Humans have the distinct tendency to think something and not say it. Some even lack impulse control and say it anyway, but most know what is and is not appropriate to say, and even if they think it, are intelligent enough to not say it. But what if everyone could read your mind, whether you wanted them to or not, and could figure out everything you thought but didn't say? What if there were children around and they started getting your thoughts that were in the gutter? OMG, just the thought of that is nuts. It would be utter chaos! What do you think? Would you want to live in a world where you were surrounded by telepaths? Why or why not?

Yes this may not be good, but then again, if that were possible for humans, perhaps our thoughts would be different I dunno lol

Maybe, or maybe there'd be a way to put up mental barriers to block mind reading, or laws that say mind reading without permission is illegal. I dunno, lol.

There are also some people who think they'd really like to knock the snot out of someone, but they know it's not an appropriate response, but what if that person could read their mind anyway and know they were thinking that? It would probably instigate a lot more fights.

We have enough psychopaths running around. Sure don't need to kick the game up further.

I speak everything I think. So wouldn't matter if anyone read my mind..

Nobody says everything they think. What if you start thinking about what you're going to do at night with your new husband on your honeymoon with a 4-year-old child nearby? You're not going to announce that to them, or hopefully not to anyone, rofl. I mean people would be able to literally read anything you're thinking. Mental barriers would be an absolute must!

@mommyzhuuraan actually, people do. I know many who do, and I'm one that does also. And I wouldn't think about that, lmao.
