My sister and I used to do Sunday Funday every single Sunday of football season. We alternated at each other's houses and it was sometimes just the 4 of us (her and her husband, me and my husband) and sometimes we had a bigger group of family and friends. Then she had kids as well as our other friends and life got more complicated for them. Sunday Fundays became much fewer and farther between. We didn't even have one here last year. I'm not letting that happen again. I just put out an invite on Facebook for Sept 23. On that Sunday the Eagles, Giants, and Cowboys are all playing during the 1 and 4 pm games. The only person in our group who won't get to see his team will be my dad who likes the Jets. They play on Thursday. I am hoping the date works for everyone. If not, I can always change it. I'm not sure what type of menu I'll do. This early in the year, it will probably involve the smoker--pulled pork, ribs, maybe smoked meatloaf. We'll see. Do you have people over to watch football? If so, what types of food do you like to eat when you watch the game?

I am not much of an American football fan. The only time there is a gathering of people to watch a game is the Super Bowl and we usually go to someone's house for that. Though we did host it once.
