The big news in my town yesterday was how after 67 years, the remains of Korean War Veteran Corporal Terrell J. Fuller was finally identified and returned to his hometown of Toccoa Georgia. He was a 23 year old soldier who went missing in 1951 and presumed killed in 1954.
His remains were driven through town with a full police escort. He will have a proper funeral with full military honors on Saturday and be buried in Stephens Memorial Gardens (the Cemetery, that I drive by on the main road in town).
His surviving family members are so thankful to be able to have his remains home and buried in his hometown.
I have been kind of tearful. The whole thing is so moving.

@LeaPea2417 I wonder what the Corporal would think if he knew that all these years later there still was no actual peace treaty between the North and South and that a state of war technically exists between the two countries. I imagine he'd be disappointed.

I'm glad he was sent back home. In any case, it was a comfort to his family.
