Happy Saturday to all. I think everybody is ecstatic because we are paid for our interaction here. My son left at 7:45 AM for his Masters class. He has his white handkerchief with him. Last night though, he apologized because he lost the brown handkerchief he brought to school. Maybe he dropped it, or unknowingly left it on a table in the canteen. I also cannot leave home without a handkerchief. Even if I don’t use it, I feel secured when I feel the piece of cloth safely tucked in my pants. Do you always bring along a handkerchief, or tissue paper, when you go out of your house?

I feel incomplete without my handkerchief. One time , i was nearly out of the neighborhood to go to the highway to get a jeepney, i realized i don't have a handkerchief. I went back and got one. I will be fidgety if I don't have a handkerchief. Especially , when it's hot and I sweat.

@ridingbet Really. With my mother it is a comb and a tissue in each bag she has.

Really? I usually have the big handkerchief always in my bag. When you have kids, a hanky goes a long way

@ridingbet I have I think 18 pieces of big handkerchief. When I go up in the mountain, it is a must to have that. I guess, I still have it me. Now instead of bring small towels for the kids I bring 2-3 handkerchief.

When I go out to exercise, I must make sure there is one handkerchief in my bag. I must make sure I have tissues at other times when I was out,.

indeed, tissues or towelette, or handkerchiefs are necessary especially during summer time.

@ridingbet i've lost a lot of handkerchiefs over the years. there was a time i was buying from the men's section because they were bigger and had designs i liked, not just flowers. now, there's more variety and i even buy from the children's section.

@hereandthere me too. when i bought the handkerchiefs of my son, i chose the geometric designs and dark printed too. the plain whites and browns are mine but i thought i should give them to my son because i have some small towelettes given by my sister and the school, my mother's handkerchiefs, some fine hankies as gifts, and 'labacaras' from taheebo, and airlines' as well.

it is already customary for us to have hankies. anywhere we go, we have. even inside the house, i hang a cloth diaper of my son when he was still an infant.
