India's first IKEA store opened

On 9th August, india's first IKEA store got open in hyderabad. And it was too much rush there on first day only, even that day was a weekday then also there was lot of rush. Even ikea employees were not able to handle the rush.
Juat because of that there was lot of traffic in that route.

we will have one here, too, but the target year is 2020.
yes, crowds and traffic happens here, too, when a new mall or big supermarket opens.

I dont know why there is too much rush on first day or opening day of stores. Yes, i know there will be good deals but we need to think about rush and traffic

@hereandthere, but with the capacity of 30K i. Stores, around 70K people came and over that a lot of queue for waiting to enter.
If less people will come then store people will keep their deals.

I love their furnitures and home furnishings. But it is quite expensive for my income level. I'm into saving for retirement.

Hmm, even i got the same feedback and they told that furnitures are really good but it is quite expensive. When ikea store opens in your country

@rakski, it was above expextations is f ikea store people also, and due to that there not ready for that much rush.

Yeah it was a big rush there and due to that therr was too much traffic problem that day also
