How do you prepare packed lunches for kids?

One of the great things that I enjoy as a work-from-home mom is to pack the lunches of my kids.
Every Saturday, my family has a meal strategic planning. As a full time mom, I make sure that they have rice, meat, fruit or veggies, pastry or sweets, juice and bottled water.
What about you? How do you prepare your kids lunch for school?

@thislittlepennyearns It's not 'required' but it's sensible. I don't know how often I've read posts with information like "It's raining **here**" without the slightest hint where in the world *here* is.

When I packed food for my kids I asked them what they want me to prepare. Than packing food of my choice which are all nutricious yet they will not even touch it and just go to waste.
