I thought she would have liked it....

...I mean, Labs are supposed to like water, right?....and Angel is at least part Lab... I took Angel out in the backyard, thinking, "Oh, this'll be easy." So not. No sooner did I turn the hose on than Angel ran right back up on the deck. She didn't want any part of it. So, I had to do what I did with my last dog, Bear -- I went and got her leash, attatched it to the deck, turned off the hose and called Angel back down. I got her leash on, and started washing her. I'm not sure I left the shampoo on her long enough (the bottle said 90 seconds), but Angel was starting to pull out of her collar (it was always too big, anyway--the next one I get her will be the right size). Anyway, she's had a bath. Now that chore's done.

Harley is luckily small enough I can give her one in the bathtub. But it's messy

@xstitcher shes not that small. But she's probably about 40 pounds. I can still maneuver her into the bathtub

My family has never had a dog that enjoyed a bath. Our old dog Cookie would start shaking if you said the "B-A-T-H" word at her. You'd think you were torturing them instead of just making them clean!

LOL--yeah--just wishful thinking, I guess. We've never had a dog that enjoyed a bath, either.

@xstitcher I am sorry that Angel did not like her bath much. I had a lab-husky and I remember she loved snow but do not remember if she liked water on her.
