A cunning and dangerous dictator plans to cause chaos and mayhem in your country and manages to kill an Army General. However, since many people of your country also stay in that country, you cannot start a war. So what do you do? You send a secret group if 5-6 army and Military Intelligence people to take out that dictator. Throw in a double agent who leaks secrets to the enemy and some love elements and patriotic fervour and dialogues. This is what the 1992 Anil Sharma directed movie Tahalka is about. The action is superb and Mukesh Khanna and Ambrish Puri act splendidly. The movie was partly inspired by the Clint Eastwood 1968 movie based on Alistair MacLean novel "Where Eagles Dare". One dialog in the end was partially taken from "Good, Bad and Ugly" . The songs and dance are a bit deviation but for action and spy movie lovers, this 8s a good watch.
