Some people enjoy the tea so much and they have a whole set of making the tea. The tea pet is a little gadget and it can not only give you some fun, but also stands for luck and something like that. Such as this pair of swans, they are black but when you pour hot water on them, they will become white.

I remember cups that changed color when you poured hot water inside. I suppose those swans are made with the same material.

Usually this tea pet is made from purple clay.

@youless If it's not the material is the painting. Purple clay is surely painted to be black or white.

Usually they are sold in the tea stuff stores. Of course today you can easily buy them via the net

Different features stands for something different, such as luck, happy, fortunate...
