doctor vs my google

you know, whenever i felt something weird on me, i always googled for it. well, i was talking about minor dizziness, body pains or what. then, there was a time that i went to a doctor for a check up.
ridiculous, but everything google told me matched the doctor's diagnose. but he advised me to never google for my health issues. lol

I was off work for the last 4 or 5 months and went to the doctors with a few issues.
She did various tests and also encouraged me to do research on the internet as my symptoms were weird.
I gave up as there were so many things that came up it seemed a waste of time.
For very specific symptoms the internet is ok but I'd prefer a doctors advice as they have the in depth knowledge.
