Better Than Ice Cream

This afternoon, I saw at the lobby of a hospital a kiosk that says they are selling frozen yogurt, with no regular sugar at all. At last, an alternative to ice cream that I craved these past days! I knew of frozen yogurt that are being sold in malls, but I had not tried it. This time, the vendor said they are using stevia as sugar alternative. It is a kind of plant that has sweet leaves and does not cause diabetes. Do you also crave for ice cream at times?

Wow, that's nice, but always drink lots of water after eating it.

I also have lactose intolerance, but my stomach did not "complain" after eating it.

@acelawrites then you aren't lactose intolerant. If you were you wouldn't of been able to process it

I'm not fussed about frozen yoghurt. I'd much rather ice-cream.

I do occasionally. I like froyo too and it has a lower fat content than normal ice cream.

SOmetimes, but seldom, do I crave for ice cream. I think, I used to buy that kind of Yogurt "Better Than Ice cream" at Rustan's Makati. So delicious. As usual, it's always strawberry flavor for me. What about you, what flavor do you like?

@acelawrites No, we don't have that here in malls. Though, maybe when SM will officially open on September, I hope they will have that.

I like pistachio flavor with crunchy bits of it. Don't they have it in your mall?

I haven't eaten an ice cream since the rain came down last month. Not even yogurt, although I have tasted it before.

We don't do dairy, but have learned to freeze and blend frozen fruit to make a refreshing treat for hot days. Of course, anyone who can't do dairy can learn how to do this on YouTube in about ten minutes!

Yes, fruit shakes are also the best, even without the cream!

@acelawrites have to read packages. Some frozen yogurts have just as much sugar.

Yes, they use stevia as sweetener; it is a plant that tastes so sweet. It is good for diabetics and those avoiding sugar or other artificial sweeteners.

Yes, I do. My favorite ice cream flavors are cheese, pistachio, vanilla and green tea.
