When A Song Sticks In Your Head...

When you get a song stuck in your head, do you hear a melody, or an entire arrangement? One of the glorious things about my musical ear is that when I get a song in my head, I hear the entire arrangement! It’s especially useful when I’m trying to Hearn a new song on the piano.

A small world was a ride at Disneyland and I could not get that out of my head.

usually the whole thing.what's even worse is when i hear a song in a dream and can't remember it when i wake up to copy it

Yes.It sticks to my mind too.Sometimes when I dont expect that its coming to my mind from nowhere.

It depends on the song, if I know the lyrics and everything it will be the entire song but other times it is just a lyric or two or just some notes.

The same happens to me. Then I start thinking about another song to get rid of this.

Yes it sticks to my mind, the whole arrangement and I really enjoy it that way until it becomes too much and it bores me.
