Something is wrong with my Google Account. I think someone is on it or trying to access. I just successfully changed the password but I still don't feel good about this. I have a nagging feeling that someone else is in here with me. All my scans come out okay but did you ever have a 6th sense about an account? When I clear the caches and history, I have to sign in to everything else but not Google. That is making me crazy. I also need a new driver according to my antivirus. They want me to pay plenty for it. I don't know what to do. This laptop is old and acting funny and I don't want to pay for updates. If I pay for one, then another will need replacing, I know how the money flows. I sure could use some advice from a guru. If you know one, please tag them for me.

You must find a young man who can help you. I have one who comes when I need him. I asked a teacher of my former school to send me one he trusts and he found a really good one. I told him right at the beginning not to explain anything to me but just do what must be done. He gets some money for what he does. So both sides are happy.

@akalinus You would have to pay for the air fare. I'm afraid your myLot earnings wouldn't be enough. :-( Get into contact with the nearest high school or look around in the neighbourhood. There must be someone!

@MALUSE I have become pretty good at getting to the bottom of some internet problems but some are way beyond my knowledge. And there is always more to learn. How do I find someone I can trust not to goo up my computer or do illegal stuff on it?

@akalinus You ask a teacher from the nearest high school if he/she knows a reliable pupil who'd help you solve your problem. When the pupil comes - it will most likely be a boy - you sit beside him and look what he's doing. If you don't feel good to be alone with a stranger even though it's only a boy, you can invite a friend for the time when he comes. If he solves the problem to your satisfaction, you tell him that you'll recommend his services to people you know.

You must log out of Chrome before clearing the cache, cookies and everything. If you stay logged in, it keeps the info concerning your account. Chrome is a safe browser, but they are updating all the time.

@akalinus If you stay logged in, it will keep the setting for the account in use.

Yes, I had another update yesterday. There are Window updates, Chrome updates, security updates, other types of updates, some days it is a wonder I get anything done. Each update requires a restart which is a pain when you are working online.

One of the most common is hijacking email account. Often, people use e-mail for important things. Not infrequently, many who make buying and selling transactions are also done via email. I am using ESET Smart Security Anti-virus, and I keep watching my account.

@akalinus I've never used a paid anti-virus, I'm only searching the free serial number so that it can be used fully.

I never heard of ESET. Is it something you pay for? I am using a free version of Avira and a paid Malwarebytes Premium.
