Today i heard on the radio that there was going to be an execution in the state of Nebraska. First one in over 20 years. The legislature in 2015 voted to abandon the death penalty. Apparently there was a rush to have the death penalty come back to the state. The announcer wondered why there was a change? Of course the announcer wondered if the death penalty is a good idea. I, use to think if someone commits a heinous crime of killing some one (as in this case he killed two taxi cab driver) a person should be sentenced to death. But then you hear about cases of people who were wrongly accused. So, if some one that was "accused" of committing a crime and then they were executed only to find out they were innocent... However, if they actually committed the crime and admit they did the crime then I believe in the death penalty. In this situation, where he admits he did it, he should receive the death penalty for killing two people. When you follow the link, I'll provide, you can read all about it. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/post-nation/wp/2018/08/14/nebraska-prepares-for-first-u-s-execution-using-fentanyl/?noredirect=on&utm_term=.da811bc25440 ~Peace~

There are much better ways to punish someone for a crime. And I would make the culprit work for his keep while he is in jail.

i am at a loss with this one too.. I am not really against it, since some people are really evil and kind of deserve it...but then comes the moral clause

Sometimes a convict is forced to admit a crime, in such cases, the judge has to study the case well, and the lawyer has to do his cross-examination properly the judges can study the body language and expression of the convict.
