Survival without AC..

Can you imagine your life without AC (air conditioner) at peal summer days. I am living it for three days now. The switch burnt a couple of days ago which resulted in some fault in AC. I have called the one who will come to check and repair it but he hasn't showed up because of lack of time. He probably come this evening . It's too humid here. My fingers crossed and I hope it will be corrected in a couple of hours..

we do not have an AC and we cool ourselevs with the electric fans.

Maybe climate is not as hot and humid there as It is here. It reached 48-49 degrees Celsius in summers. Summers are long. Almost 8-9 months long

True.. Price of ACs went down considerably making it affordable to common man. Also the global warming led to hot and humid climate to most of the places where now ACs are must

@anamika161088 I agree. In the past, thoug it is hot in summer, it is liveable. But now, the temperature has gone wild.

There must be lesser temperature there then.
Here climate is hot and humid most of the year. AC is must to sleep peacefully

@anamika161088 No my friend summer is unbearable. And what makes it harder for me is that my bedroom face the sunset and there is no house around.

Oh no, I experienced it before. so I took a bath 3 or 5 times in a day. I can't sleep, I woke up for a quick shower and went back to bed even I'm still wet, I just put the same clothes on. Then you have you drink more cold water.

Same here. Humidity kept me wet with sweat all day long. It too unbearable to live with this sweat

No. I switch it on in afternoon for a couple of hours and then at night.
