Street dogs..

A lot has been talked about pet dogs. What about street dogs! Do you like street dogs equally?
There is a street dog in my colony which got a pipe stucked in his mouth and throat and was helpless with the pain and inconvenience. There is a man in my vicinity who when noticed it (told by his son), tried to get the pipe removed thrice till got succeed. The dog is happy now and playing with it's mates.

some stray dogs here should receive anti-rabies vaccination to protect the public. a few minutes ago, i read a post on Facebook about how a certain animal agency euthanized a PREGNANT pit bull. the dog was quiet while delivering her litter, then she was put to sleep. all her puppies were also killed.
it makes me so sad.

Yeah.. I couple of months ago, a street dog bit 2 kids when they were coming home from school

@anamika161088 They can be dangerous and unpredictable and moreover their bite can be risky as they are not vaccinated like pet dogs.

I am sure there is some wild dogs around here but they stay hidden. Any strays we catch are sent to the pound to hopefully get a home.

Yeah.. Street dogs don't have a place to live in. I felt good that the man was considerate enough

@anamika161088 Not a really a home because if no owner claims for those dog it will be killed. Too bad for the dog.

We did start rearing pedigree dogs but later opted for strays. The one that we now have walked in through our gate one fine morning and it was love at first sight

I have a fear of dogs. No street dogs here. There are alot dog owners here though.
