She didn't make up a story

In my husband's work, there are workers who will call out , of course if they are sick or have an emergency, but there are also the workers who will call out and make up stories about why they can't come to work. Last week, one employee was going on vacation, so they had to get someone to fill in for him during the 3rd shift, grave yard shift for some of those vacation days. One woman Manager was scheduled to do that. She had never worked that particular position before and had acted a little bit nervous about doing it according to my husband. She ended up calling out for those 2 grave yard shift days saying she was sick. Everyone working there, thought the timing of her being sick was suspect, that she was making up a story about not wanting to work those nights. But, then she called saying she was still sick , thought it was her kidneys and was going to the hospital. Then yesterday, my husband came home saying how shocked everyone was because this female Manager, was still in the hospital because she had just been diagnosed with Stage 3 Uterine Cancer and was getting ready to have her Uterus removed and go through Cancer Treatments! Everyone at his work is now depressed about it. She didn't make up a story. She is in need of deep prayer. My husband thinks she is in her early to mid 50s.

Its never a good thing to assume unless one has all the facts. She needs all the support she can get right now,

That is true, it is not right to assume things, because lots of times the stories are completely different.

It is sad, luckily the Cancer got caught when it did. Hopefully, though treatment, she can be a Cancer Survivor.
