How do you keep yourself motivated to lose weight?

My husband bought me a new pair of shoes to start jogging. I woke up early today to start jogging alone. I’m not used to do this alone. I miss my friends who are far away now. They motivated me that when I was about to quit, they always told me that I can do it. Most of the time, my knees and lower legs hurt because of my heavy weight. Hopefully, I can do this often. This could be a good start. How can you motivate yourself to lose weight?

I hope you can keep it up. I look in the mirror for motivation. I look at pictures of when I was younger and much slimmer. I tell myself, I can do it. I was slim once, I will be again. I'm also eating right. I was on a Whole30 food program for a year and lost 32 pounds. Today, I switch to the Paleo diet, which is similar to the Whole30, with the difference being this is a diet, where Whole30 is a food program. I'll be calorie counting and eating fewer carbs and fruit with less high sugar fructose. I still have a long ways to go before I'm at goal weight. I know I can get there. With persistence, you can too.

Oh I have the same question everyday. I hope you are my neighbor or at least not so far away so we can motivate each other to walk or run everyday. I walk Mondays to Friday 15-20 minutes. I want more though.

Me too. When I jog before, I do it for 2-3 hours. We can do this!
