Honesty is the best policy always?? What do you think? / myLot

Hi mylotters. Honesty is something which I have in me. I like to be with honest people all the time. I don't like people who are diplomatic in nature. Sometimes, though in order to do something good for others, one hides the truth for a time being. I feel it's ok because you aren't hurting someone. I personally believe " Honesty will always be the best policy". No matter how bitter is the truth, it's always better then the sugar coated lies people speak in everyday life.

Honesty pays always well. Dishonesty may look colourful, but it is not. It is like garbage on the top which good flowers are thrown. THis has nothing to do with diplomatic white lies which we may sometimes need to utter for the sake of our self defence. White lies are not intended to hurt or harm anybody, but only to protect ourselves.

Honesty is the best policy. If you be honest from the beginning you won't ever have to worry about a lie coming back to bite you. If you tell one lie, you'll have to tell another to back that lie up and on and on. After a while you have told so many lies you start believing it yourself. I know people that would rather climb a tree and tell a lie than stand on the ground and tell the truth.

@Rashnag I know what you are saying. I do not like people that lie and try and turn it around that they are not doing that. I have met good people and have met dishonest people and i prefer the good ones.
