Worst dog breed

What do you think is (objectively) the worst breed and why? I personally think the worst dog breed is the modern pug because unlike pugs before it, their faces are so smushed in that they have serious health issues that cause them to have shorter lifespans, which isn't good for the owner or pet.

I don't know if I would classify any as the worst breed, but the one breed that is probably my least favorite is the Labrador. Not a fan. My two favorite breeds are the American Pit bull Terrier (pit bull) and the Doberman. I have owned and bred both. I had 70 pit bulls at one time. A lot of them were rescues. Dogs that were rescued from fighting rings. Very good dogs.

I've had every kind too @Sukeena1961 and I ran an animal shelter. You are quite right about the Pitt and Dobie. Rottweilers were great dogs too.

A lot of the 'cross-breeding' that has been done is a huge detriment @toothbrushglue . I ran an animal shelter for several years and the worst breeds in my book were the little breeds like the Chihuahua and Terriers. They are the most likely to bite and constantly bark.

I used to run a canine rescue and the one breed of dog that used to come through my rescue that had a greater propensity to bite was the cocker spaniel. I had several come through that would bite without hardly any provocation. I felt that those dogs had been severely abused.

any hyper lil ratdog that won't shut up. i know they're meant to be walking alarms, but that is one annoying trait to be encouraged.
