My convertible has a leak

This is something new and not cool at all. My husband accused me of leaving the top down in the rain while he was gone last week or of leaving the window down. I assured him that I didn't. He knew that I didn't when we had a bad thunderstorm last night and more water was under the driver's seat of my car today. Somehow water is getting in there. The good news, I guess, is that the car is a lease so any damage to it isn't my problem. However the water is getting in is a factory defect and their issue. It would be their problem anyway because the car is still under warranty. This is one of the good things about having newer cars, right @anthonydavis ? I just hope that they will be able to fix it quickly. The last time my convertible had a roof issue, the place had it for almost a month! That's a long time when you are paying each month to lease it.

Could be that the top doesnt close properly or tightly. Hope you get it fixed. Can you trade it in for another?
