i am from kenya and there is an event next year that we would like to invite him to because it would mean alot to those people the event is being held for. do you think it is possible for a celebrity such as him to attend such an event?

Everything is possible. Where there's a will, there's a way. The sooner you contact celebrities (or their agents), the more likely it is they will be able to attend.
It's not always as easy as it seams though. Most of the times when celebrities show up at fundraisings and charity events, some big companies have sponsored them, i.e. paid their airfare, hotel and usually a high fee also. It can be very expensive to get a celebritiy to come to events like that, they don't just show up and make all the arrangements themselves.
