Just saw breaking news that the jury sent yet another note to the judge that they have a unanimous decision on 8 of the charges but that they cannot agree on 10 of the other counts. It will be interesting to see what the judge will do now. He can tell them do go back and try again, but I don't really see what the point of that would be. I mean, they have been trying for days now. I don't know what another few hours or another day would do. The judge just stated that he is going to interview the jurors individually to determine what their "feelings" are. I had no idea that was even an option. Stay tuned! ***UPDATE*** Well, I don't know what happened but within like 2 minutes suddenly things changed and it was announced that Manafort was found guilty of 8 charges--5 tax fraud charges, 2 bank fraud charge, and 1 charge of hiding a foreign bank account. The judge declared a mistrial on the other 10 charges. I think he is looking at 200+ years in jail for those 8 felony counts.
It's Day 16 of the Paul Manafort trial, and the jury has reached a verdict on 8 of 18 counts. Follow here for the latest.

It will be interesting to know why the jury deadlocked on the other 10 charges. I wonder if maybe there was a single holdout who wouldn't vote to convict.

There had to have been a holdout.

Well there obviously was at least one holdout. Manafort is screwed in any case.

If only his defense team had called witnesses!

I think he is banking on a pardon from his buddy Trump.

@spiderdust The general consensus is that it would cause impeachment

I think a lot of this has become interesting. If more people would quit allowing their Morals and such to be a part of this instead of what really is happening, maybe this would not have had to go this far?
