I had an idea

As I lay down to sleep, I had an idea of a discussion to post. It has completely left me. I bet I am not the only one to ever have that problem. I think my brain is too full and the information just leaks out overnight. Or it has been washed away by the rain. It is raining again.

@GardenGerty @JohnRoberts Oh, yes, I do know that. Only yesterday I wrote an idea down which I think I can use for a post. Now I only have to remember where I put that sheet of paper . . .

I try to always write it on scrap paper and leave it by the computer. It does not always happen.

I can't think if it's raining, my brain is frozen and lazy.

It might come back during the day.

Actually it did, about half way through the day when I was in the room I wanted to write about.

This happens all the time. I wake up and I have a great idea in mind. The time to wear my slippers and it's gone.

Mine is not usually when I wake up. I am too focused on getting started on other stuff at that time. I was just too tired last night.

@LadyDuck Lately I am sleeping alright. I agree, though. Lots of thoughts can come to you at 3 a.m

@GardenGerty I do not sleep well, when I am awake around 3 in the morning I have ideas, but as soon as I get up they vanish.

I can certainly relate. I have lots of things to talk about until I sit at the computer

I have not been having anything new it seems for a while, so this was a blessing.

My brain oozes forgetfulness because of so much to remember.

What a mental image. I can see that happening though, with all that is on your plate.

It happens to me all the time. And if I do think of it again, I usually lose interest in it or assume it wouldn't interest anyone else, so why bother... Hmmm.... maybe that's why I'm a slow earner.

I think this idea disturbed me a little last night when it came to me. So I did feel like sharing it here. Next post, titled is Yay I remembered.

I hate when that happens! You might think of it again at some random time.

I usually do not have those flashes of inspiration at all lately, just boring stuff.

Sometimes you need to write down the idea lest you forget.

I do often write down ideas. When this missing one returned I did make a note so it would be in my mind this afternoon.
