~Faith Rocks~

Good morning everyone I hope you're doing well today so far! I hope you slept well too. God loves you and He is taking care of whatever is going on in your life. =) I know that by FAITH. So...my family has been doing the rocks I spoke about weeks ago. Well, I have made a few different ones for others but I make FAITH rocks for myself. I put them right outside where I can see it when I walk the dog or leave the room for any reason. It's a reminder to keep my faith. I guess other people need them more than I do though. I have made 3 now because people are finding them and keeping them. Lol. I'm not upset at all by it-I think it's really cool! Have you ever made something intended for you but someone else needed it more so it became theirs? It's such a good feeling giving it to them, right?

I think that's a good sign that others are helping themselves to the rocks that you put out. I don't know off hand of anything that I've made or done that others have wanted. Except for cooking, whenever I cook, I seem to attract a crowd around here. And they're usually hungry!

@Juliaacv Thank you, I think it's awesome too! God can speak to us through a rock or anything else. =) Cooking is a great thing to share with others! Wish we were closer-I would sneak over for some too!

people are doing the rocks thing here too and I see it posted on facebook often. That is a good idea to do but I don't do that here, not enough time.

@Blondie2222 My family was way late in the game but after finding some we thought we would make them--with a twist. Our faith is so important so we added that to it! =)

I believe that this is happening for a reason. Like maybe you are spreading God's word in a different way. Yes, I have made something for myself but ended up giving it to a person that needed it.

Such a good symbol of your faith Jennifer these rocks. So glad other people are getting them too. I need Satan binded here in my house at this time. Please pray with me Sister. It is out of my hands, thank you. Amen.

@Courage7 Thank you, I'm so glad they are too! =) I will absolutely be praying, you know that. Remember to turn your focus back to God when satan whispers a lie in your ear-fear is a liar! Don't let the devil have one second of your time or thoughts-he comes to kill, steal and destroy. And don't allow him to steal your joy-he didn't give it to you in the first place!

I have been painting, gifting, hiding and keeping rocks myself now for just over a yr. I Love when someone compliments something I have done, especially when they are saying that it encourages them. It helps encourage me on my down times as well.

I love your idea of the rocks and it's awesome that people are taking them. You're spreading Gods word through something so simple. Hope you and the kids have a great day today! This is kind of in reverse of what you asked but....one day my daughter in law was sitting here crocheting a beautiful afghan in a pattern I had never seen before. I admired it (or probably gushed over it) and when I opened my Christmas present it was the afghan I had loved so much. She didn't keep it for herself and gifted it to me and I still cherish this wonderful gift.

I think that is so cool they want your rocks. I've made some little flash like cards for work and each had an inspirational message. One day I came in to find a co-worker reading them and she told me she had been daily to help her. I handed her the box and blessed her with them.

I'm so sorry! with the whole Kindness Rocks movement, its becoming even more popular. So people are likely thinking you are making them to share! Just think of it as another way to spread God's Love! its why I started a group called "God Rocks" for painting and sharing rocks to spread kindness!

@Daelii It's okay, I am so glad they are getting them! More people need Jesus and His love. =) Yes, that is exactly why I do it because I want to share God's love with others--this world sure needs it!

My mother had jewelry in a jewelry box and she had kept it for many years, then my sister got married and brought another person to our lives and the jewelry disappeared. It seems like the jewelry changed of owner

I see it as a compliment if I make something and someone wants it but not when they steal it. I would rather give it if they ask. Of course it depends on what it is.

I used to have an old ashtray here in the house, which I filled with sayings that I liked, or had come up with myself over the years. I had them on a table in my study, and often I would just pick one out at random as a lucky dip for myself. Over the years though, they all disappeared, as other people would come in, take a dip into the bowl too, like what they got, and ask me if they could keep it. For example, one such saying is, "Fear is believing that God will not take care of me." I have never smoked, but I like collecting beautiful old ashtrays, and using them for other purposes.
