I remember I was turning 30 then when I found out that I was adopted, My reaction was I am so thankful for my adoptive parents, They loved me as they I am their real daughter. Right now, I am on my own now both of my adoptive parents has passed away. I wanted to know where my biological paeents but can't find them .
I have also an adoptive son, who I love so much and he is my life since I have nobody now but him .He isturning 3 , I wanted to hide the fact that He was adopted but as per my experience, I feel that there is somethong missing in me when I found out that I was adopted.I wanted to know where my real parents are.
I came out with the decision that I will tell him at the right time when he is all grown up already.What do you think guys ?

i think you should tell your kid about his being an adopted child, but only when he can fully understand the situation. when adult, i think there will be some anger already because why did it take too long for you to tell him that fact? if in school-age, i think his mind can absorb the fact, and will understand the reason why he is adopted. the school-age child's mind is flexible.

Wow this is quite touching. I cannot even begin to imagine how you feel but you were quite blessed to have had a family to take you in. I hope you do find closure with your biological parents. As for your adopted son, it would be ideal to let him know he is adopted when he is of age. Kudos to you
